Spearmint (Mentha spicata) is a plant species of the Lamiaceae family native to Europe, the Mediterranean region, Asia and Africa. Because it is adapted to different climates, mint needs water to develop. According to historical records, around 1000 BC, Spearmint was already widely used by the Egyptians. Today, it is very popular in soups, refreshments, and salads. Infusion time: 3 to 5 minutes.
Recommended quantity: Approx. 1 tablespoon of Spearmint per 1L (1000ml) of water.
Dosage: Drink 3 to 4 cups a day during or after meals.
How to prepare: place 1 tablespoon of Spearmint in a pan with boiled water. Cover and leave to infuse for 3 to 5 minutes. Finally, strain and allow to cool slightly before drinking.
Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
