Infusion with Avocado Leaves (Persea Americana)
Predominant Flavour: Herbaceous and mildly bitter
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of Avocado Leaves (5g)
- 1 teaspoon of Peppermint Leaves (2g)
- 1 teaspoon of Elderflower (1g)
Preparation:
- Bring 300ml of water to a boil.
- Place the Avocado Leaves in a teapot.
- Add the Peppermint Leaves and Elderflower.
- Pour the boiling water over the herbs.
- Cover and steep for 8-10 minutes.
- Strain and serve.
Flavour Balance: The refreshing Peppermint cuts through the herbaceous notes of Avocado Leaves, while the floral sweetness of Elderflower rounds out the bitterness, creating a balanced and pleasant infusion.
