What is pinion good for?
Pinion is a dried fruit rich in vitamin C, fibre, protein, lipids, and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and iron that influence bone, muscle, and immune system well-being. Because it contains a high quantity of fibre, pinion has a low glycaemic index, helps to prolong the feeling of satiety and balances the intestinal flora. It also helps to control blood pressure, improve blood circulation and stimulate memory. If you do weight training or any other physical exercise, consume some pinion before or after training to prevent muscle damage and fatigue.
Some studies indicate that eating pinion prevents cataracts in the eyes.
Other indications: poor digestion, constipation, flu, and anaemia.
