Properties: Graviola has diuretic and sedative properties, being an antispasmodic, vermifuge, expectorant, astringent, vitaminizing, anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic.
Therapeutic indications: Gastritis, ulcer, obesity, constipation, diabetes, digestive problems, liver diseases, hypertension, depression, insomnia, migraines, flu, worms, diarrhoea and rheumatism.
Contraindications: Graviola should not be taken by people with mouth sores (canker sores) because their acidity can cause discomfort. Pregnant women, infants or people with hypotension should also avoid taking the soursop.
