Ingredients: 100% Yellow Tea (Camellia sinensis).
With a much slower drying process than any other type of tea, it preserves all the properties of its leaves, making it extremely rich in anti-oxidants and widely used in slimming regimens. Yellow tea can be even more potent than green tea! With Chinese origins, yellow tea is still a novelty in Europe, but its properties are excellent and the results very positive.
The yellow tea is extracted from the flat Camellia sinensis, the same plant that gives rise to green, white and red tea. What changes, is the time of the harvest and the fermentation, its color and its flavor, which already is a great difference for being much smoother than the green tea.
Yellow tea has large amounts of gallic acid, which is a great friend of your liver, protecting it from many harmful toxins for its proper functioning, avoiding even some possible health problems. It is also rich in polyphenols and catechins, responsible for maintaining the health of cells. This point is due to the fact that the fermentation time is slower, resulting in a greater amount of the polyphenols. It contains several antioxidants, combats free radicals and even helps in the prevention of various diseases.
* Recommended temperature: 65-80º (when small bubbles of air appear in the water).
Infusion time: 1 - 3 minutes.
