Tutsan St. John's Wort Herbal Tea
The Tutsan St. John's Wort is a medicinal plant of the Hypericaceae family that blooms between June and September. In pre-Christian ancestors, Tutsan St. John's Wort was the plant chosen as a symbol of the Sun, having the power to ward off evil spirits, demons, and other evil beings that haunted the lives of the living.

Popularly Tutsan St. John's Wort is a natural antidepressant solution with a tranquillizing action to treat anxiety, depression, insomnia, colic, cystitis, kidney failure and urinary tract infections. In most cases, Tutsan St. John's Wort can reach up to 1.2 meters in height and can withstand strong winds, drought and negative temperatures down to -20º. This plant species is detected in the Northern and Central Coastal regions of Portugal and can reproduce in Monchique and Sintra Mountain. Tutsan St. John's Wort is a sensitive plant that reproduces in Mediterranean regions from Europe to northern Iran. However, it also develops in areas with temperate to tropical climates.
The Tutsan St. John's Wart is conducive to the accumulation of pests that can drastically affect the health of other plants around it. This Portuguese plant contains a flowering part that is rich in properties even as digestive, diuretic, sedative, healing, liver protector and antiseptic. Externally, you can use Tutsan St. John's Wort for wound healing and treatment of skin inflammation.
Water temperature: 95 to 100º.
Infusion time: 3 to 5 minutes.
Recommended quantity: one dessert spoon (2 to 3gr) for 250ml of water. Consume up to 3 cups a day (1 with each main meal). Tutsan St. John's Wort Tea can be drunk cold or hot.
Preparation: place one teaspoon of tea in 250ml of boiled water in a recipient. Cover the container and let it infuse for 3 to 5 minutes. Finally, strain and the tea is ready to drink.
Store in a cool (max. 20ºC) and dry (max. 60% humidity) place.

Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of Tutsan, Plant (5g)
- 1 teaspoon of Lemon Balm, Leaves (2g)
- 1 teaspoon of Elderflower (1g)
- 1 teaspoon of Lavender Flowers (1g)
Preparation:
- Boil 300ml of water in a kettle.
- Place the Tutsan, Lemon Balm, Elderflower, and Lavender in a teapot.
- Pour the hot water over the herbs.
- Cover and let steep for 7-10 minutes.
- Strain before serving.
Flavour Balance: The herbaceous notes and slight bitterness of Tutsan are beautifully complemented by the citrusy aroma of Lemon Balm, the sweet floral notes of Elderflower, and the aromatic touch of Lavender, creating a balanced and soothing infusion with a delightful English garden character.
