Therapeutic indications: Soothing, relaxing, sleepy. The World Health Organization recognizes this plant as a natural treatment for anxiety.
How to prepare: put 2 tablespoons in 1L of water and boil for 5 to 10 minutes. You can add a few drops of lemon or mint leaves to give another flavour. Cool to cover. Take 2 to 3 cups a day, preferably in the afternoon/evening.
Contraindications: If you take medication for the nervous system, talk to your doctor before you start taking valerian tea. Also, avoid taking Valerian for very long periods without medical consultation.
