Seaweed Tea

Seaweed Tea is a medicinal tea rich in mineral salts, fibers, proteins, as well as vitamins A and D. Fucus are potentially known for their preference in cold waters, as well as for their high percentage of iodine, beneficial in fighting thyroid disease. Discovered around the 18th century, seaweed extract was used in powder form to treat goiter.

Being enriched with a high number of vitamins, minerals, proteins, and fibers. The first notes about this species of seaweed appeared about 300 years ago. As a rule, “Fucus Vesiculosus” seaweeds are collected during low tide, in coastal areas of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, as well as the North and Baltic Seas. Finally, they are left to dry in the sun for later consumption.

Seaweed Tea can be used as a natural complement and help in the treatment of the following health problems: obesity, cellulite, ulcers, regulation of menstrual cycles, and lack of appetite. Infusion time: 5 to 10 minutes.

Preparation: put 3 to 4 tablespoons in a liter (1L) of boiled water. Then, cover the container where you placed the seaweed and let it rest for the necessary infusion time, according to your taste.

Recommended quantity: 2 to 3 cups a day before each meal.

Store in a cool, dry place.
