Erva Baleeira Herbal Tea

Baleeira Tea is a powerful natural remedy with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, cicatrizing and diuretic properties. Ideal for soothing muscle pain, speeding up bruise healing and relieving respiratory allergy symptoms in a gentle, herbal infusion.

Ingredients: 100% Baleeira plant, leaves and stems (Cordia verbenacea), Boraginaceae family.

History & Curiosities

Native to Brazil’s Atlantic Forest, Baleeira Tea gets its name from early coastal communities who used it to treat wounds on stranded whales, earning it the nickname “whale-healer.” Also called Maria-Milagrosa or Black Herb, indigenous and Afro-Brazilian communities have long macerated its leaves into poultices and infusions. Since the 1970s, Brazilian researchers have isolated active compounds—flavonoids and phenolic acids—validating its anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effects. Modern clinical studies confirm both topical and oral efficacy, making Baleeira Tea a rising star in global phytotherapy.
