Elm Bark Herbal Infusion (Ulmus campestris L.)

Predominant Flavour: Woody and slightly astringent

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of Elm Bark (5g)
  • 1 teaspoon of Peppermint Leaves (1g)
  • 1 teaspoon of Chamomile Flowers (1g)

Preparation:

  1. Simmer the Elm Bark in 300 ml of water for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat, add Chamomile and Peppermint.
  3. Cover and steep for 5 minutes.
  4. Strain before serving.

Flavour Balance: The bark’s earthy base is brightened with calming chamomile and fresh peppermint, making this a soothing herbal tonic.
