Seasonal allergies: 5 teas to relieve symptoms
Seasonal allergies are a common problem that can affect many people’s quality of life. The most common causes include allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, asthma and urticaria.
Allergies are caused by an overreaction of the immune system to harmless substances called allergens. When an allergic person comes into contact with an allergen, the immune system releases histamine, a substance that causes allergy symptoms.
As well as medication, there are some teas that can help relieve symptoms. These teas have antihistamine, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, which can help reduce inflammation, itching and nasal discharge.
Which teas relieve allergy symptoms?
