Curiosities:

Lemon is a citrus fruit produced by the lemon tree, a well-known tree of Indian and Chinese origin. Its expansion is believed to have started more than 2500 years ago in Northeast India. Until the 10th century, the cultivation of lemon trees was restricted and only produced for ornamental purposes. From the 11th century onwards, it was the Arabs who were responsible for its diffusion in Europe and Africa. It was in the 15th century that lemon took on its functions in medicine, cooking and cleaning.

This fruit contains a high quantity of fibre and vitamin C, which makes it a powerful antioxidant. Lemon can contribute to the immune system and gastrointestinal regulation.

Açai is a tropical fruit with antioxidant power, very common in Central and South America. For hundreds of years, açai has been widely consumed by the indigenous peoples of Amazonia. It was in the 1980s that açaí migrated to other regions of Brazil through the migration of riverside dwellers.

It is an excellent food to control cholesterol and improve concentration.

Water temperature: 100º

Infusion time: 3 to 5 minutes.

Recommended quantity: 1 teaspoon per person. Approximately 4grs per cup.

Preparation: place a teaspoon of boiled water in a container. Cover it and let it rest for 3 to 5 minutes. Finally, strain and the tea is ready to drink, hot or cold.

Store in a dry (max. 20º) and cool (max. 60% humidity) place.

Learn how to prepare your cold tea:

Put two tablespoons of tea in 1.5L of boiled water, let it cool and then put it in the fridge. If you want to add sugar to your tea, you should do so while it is hot. For a healthier option, add 1 tablespoon of STEVIA (do not steep it for longer than 3 minutes as your drink will be too sweet). This way, you get an ICE TEA without any added sugars or artificial preservatives.
