Tropical Black Tea

Feel the exotic warmth of our Tropical Black Tea! A hot blend that will transport you to far away places with green vegetation and many aromas.

Ingredients: Black Tea with coconut pieces (coconut, coconut oil, sugar), pineapple pieces (pineapple, sugar), apple pieces, ginger pieces, lemongrass, calendula petals and natural lemon and pineapple aromas.

Origin of Black Tea

Black tea is a blend of the oldest leaves of one of the Camellia sinensis bushes. Compared to other teas, black tea has a higher percentage of oxidation. This difference will give black tea a more intense flavour. After harvesting, the green leaves go through an osmosis process lasting up to 20 hours. Later, they are rolled by hand or by machines. It is at this stage that the tea leaves start their oxidation process. Finally, the leaves are left to dry naturally.

Due to the high caffeine content, Black Tea can influence the increase of body energy and the unbalancing of the nervous system. Choose to consume it during the day, naturally and without added sugar. Take it to reduce fatigue, lose weight and relieve poor digestion. Black Tea may stimulate body energy for 4 to 6 hours.

Curiosities:

Coconut – Coconut is the fruit of the coconut tree, known as the 'Tree of Well-Being'. The word 'Coconut' is said to have been decided in Malabar by the Portuguese discoverers during the sea voyage from Europe to India. The term comes from the idea of the coconut's appearance as 'Coca', a famous imaginary monster that tormented the children's minds. Fortunately, coconut is one of the foods that can be reused 100% for many purposes. This tropical fruit contains a high nutritional value that may aid in the well-being of the bones and intestines. When used in drinks and dishes, it promotes aroma intensity.

Some states in the Northeast of Brazil are considered the largest coconut producers. They are Bahia, Sergipe and Ceará. But it is in Pernambuco that the largest coconut production is concentrated, with values three times higher. In the world, 63 million tons of coconut are harvested, distributed over 12 million hectares. Brazil alone is responsible for around 2.33 million tons of coconut.

The largest coconut plantation in the world, with one million coconut palms producing 120 million coconuts annually, is found in the Amazon.

Calendula officinalis is one of 12 species belonging to the genus Calendula of the family Asteraceae. Each plant in this family is remembered by the opening of its flowers with the dawn and dusk of the sun. Marigold flowers naturally have a pleasant aroma and a bittersweet taste. Hence, the use of flowers and leaves in salads and soups.

In poultry feed, Marigold flowers are used in supplements to intensify the colour of meat and egg yolk. The origin of Marigold is still unknown, although it is known to be a plant with little resistance to drought.
