What is Pai Mu Tan White Tea?

Pai Mu Tan White Tea is the least processed tea collected from Camellia sinensis. Compared to other teas, Pai Mu Tan is slightly oxidized which makes it low in theine. Nevertheless, it oxidizes very easily. That's why tea lovers recommend drinking it right after brewing or at the latest within the next 2 hours. Known for its floral aroma and sweet taste, Pai Mu Tan is indeed a very delicate gem. In the category of White Teas, Pai Mu Tan is the famous exclusive hand-picked tea. This is because, for just one kilo of tea, 30,000 tea buds are needed.

Ideal to drink at any time of the day, either in the morning or late afternoon.

Curiosities:

Papaya is an exotic fruit from a tropical tree, not at all fond of frost and low temperatures. The first commercial records of papaya seeds date back to 1525. However, papaya only reached the Asian continent in 1550 with the arrival of the Spanish in the Philippines. In 1977 at the London Hospital, papaya strips were applied to a wound of a patient who had undergone a kidney transplant. Over two days, this natural treatment proved to be an exceptional ally for infection healing.
