White Dead Nettle – scientifically called “Lamium album L.” the White Dead Nettle is a medicinal and food plant belonging to the Lamiaceae family. This plant is from the European and Asian continent and developed in many regions in the World. Usually, its flowering period takes place between April and August and is detected through its large white flowers. This plant is friendly to bees due to its mild honey aroma. This plant can grow up to 60 centimetres in height.

In Chinese culture, white dead nettle is used for medicinal purposes because of its emollient, astringent and antirheumatic properties. White Dead Nettle may contribute to the normal functioning of the stomach and intestines. In addition, recommended treating respiratory and rheumatic inflammations such as bronchitis, gout, asthma, and laryngitis. It may also help to eliminate intestinal gas.

Horsetail – this is a plant native to the Northern Hemisphere belonging to the Equisetaceae family, rich in digestive, hemostatic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties. It is considered an excellent ally in regulating the menstrual cycle, even in the treatment of urinary infections and gonorrhoea. Due to vitamin C and potassium, Horsetail can help fight anaemia, fluid retention and gastric ulcer. With a slightly bitter aroma, the Horsetail is used for ornamental purposes.

Water temperature: 100º

Infusion time: 5 to 10 minutes.

Recommended quantity: 2 cups during main meals and at bedtime.

Preparation: place 2 tablespoons of herbal tea in 1 litre (1L) of previously boiled water in a container. Cover it and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Do not uncover during the infusion period. Finally, strain, and you can consume it immediately, cold or hot.

Store in a cool (max. 20º) and dry place (max. 60% humidity).

Warnings: Not to be consumed by pregnant women and infants. Excessive consumption can cause gastric and intestinal discomfort.
