Curiosities:

Lemon tree is a citrus tree with evergreen leaves that develops white flowers and the well-known lemons. The leaves and fruits of this tree are the only parts that can be consumed. Originally from Asia, the lemon tree may belong to the group of oldest fruit trees cultivated in the world. Due to the easy production of the lemon tree as a wild bush in Southeast Asia, the plantation expanded to several European countries around the year 1000. Although it is widely cultivated for obtaining fruits, the lemon tree still represents one of the most used trees in garden decoration.
