Scientifically known as “Orthosiphon aristatus”, java is a medicinal plant that is produced with great ease in the Mediterranean and tropical regions of South America, Asia, and Australia. In the vast majority of cases, the consumption of java herbal tea is to treat urinary and kidney infections. In addition to the properties mentioned, java herbal tea contains purifying and draining properties that may contribute to reducing excessive body fat, thus promoting the reduction of high cholesterol.

Originally from Indonesia, java is a plant adept at moist soils, recognized by its compound and oval-shaped leaves. Java tea is considered a natural formula and helps to treat diseases such as hypertension, hepatitis, kidney stones, rheumatism, high uric acid, obesity, and urinary tract infection. Due to its diuretic property, it can indirectly contribute to the weight loss process through its action in eliminating fluid retention. Infusion time: 3 to 5 minutes

Recommend quantity: 1 tablespoon per 500ml of water. You should consume 2 to 3 cups a day between meals.

Preparation: place two tablespoons of java leaves in a litter of boiled water (1L) in a container. Cover it and let it rest for 3 to 5 minutes. Finally, strain, and you can consume it immediately, cold or hot. It is recommended to practice a healthy lifestyle.

Store in a dry (max. 20º) and cool (max. 60% humidity) place.
