Garcinia Mangostana (Mangosteen) Infusion
Predominant Flavour: Tangy, fruity with citrus and astringent notes
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons Garcinia Mangostana, split fruits (8g)
- 1 teaspoon Hibiscus Flowers (2g)
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Peel (1g)
- 1 teaspoon Ginger Root, in pieces (1g)
Preparation:
- Bring 300ml of water to a boil.
- Add the Garcinia Mangostana to a pot with the boiling water.
- Let it simmer on low heat for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add the Hibiscus Flowers, Lemon Peel, and Ginger Root.
- Cover and let steep for 7 minutes.
- Strain and serve, adding honey if desired.
