Garcinia Mangostana (Mangosteen) Infusion

Predominant Flavour: Tangy, fruity with citrus and astringent notes

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons Garcinia Mangostana, split fruits (8g)
  • 1 teaspoon Hibiscus Flowers (2g)
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Peel (1g)
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Root, in pieces (1g)

Preparation:

  1. Bring 300ml of water to a boil.
  2. Add the Garcinia Mangostana to a pot with the boiling water.
  3. Let it simmer on low heat for 3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and add the Hibiscus Flowers, Lemon Peel, and Ginger Root.
  5. Cover and let steep for 7 minutes.
  6. Strain and serve, adding honey if desired.
