Earl Grey Blue Black Tea is a sophisticated variation of the classic Earl Grey, combining carefully selected black tea leaves with the citrusy and invigorating aroma of bergamot (Citrus bergamia). It is an ideal choice for those who enjoy intense and aromatic teas.
Also known as Blue Earl Grey or Cornflower Earl Grey, this version stands out due to the addition of blue cornflower petals, giving the infusion a floral touch and an elegant visual appeal.
Ingredients: Ceylon black tea with blue cornflower petals and natural bergamot flavor.
Caffeine Level: Medium
Curiosities:
The name "Earl Grey" comes from Charles Grey, a 19th-century British Prime Minister, who is credited with popularizing this blend. The bergamot used in this tea mostly comes from the Calabria region of Italy, where the rich soil and Mediterranean climate favor the production of this citrus fruit. Blue cornflower not only enhances the tea’s aesthetics but is also traditionally associated with digestive and antioxidant properties.
