Cherry - originally from the Asian continent, the cherry is a small fruit with a rounded shape and reddish colour. In Japan, fruitless cherry trees are used as ornamental plants in gardens, and the flowering season is the most appreciated by tourists and the general population.
Cherry is an edible fruit from the cherry tree rich in fibre, vitamins A, B and C, serotonin, minerals and salicylic acid. Strongly nutritious, the cherry contains refreshing, revitalizing, antioxidant, soothing, anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties. The consumption of cherries can help in digestion, rheumatism, gout, uric acid and the fight against free radicals. In addition, it contributes to the proper functioning of the heart, nervous and muscular system through its laxative action. Therefore, the consumption of cherries can help in the treatment of insomnia and depression.
Due to the strong presence of polyphenols, the cherry will be great for regular and control blood glucose levels. If you are diabetic, try our insulin plant in leaves.

Learn how to prepare your cold tea:
Put two tablespoons of tea in 1.5L of boiled water, let it cool and then put it in the fridge. If you want to add sugar to your tea, you should do so while it is hot. For a healthier option, add 1 tablespoon of stevia (do not steep it for longer than 3 minutes as your drink will be too sweet). This way, you get an ICE TEA without added sugars or artificial additives.
