Pu-Erh Mini TuoCha

Ingredients: 100% Pu Erh Tea (Camellia sinensis).

Weight of each nest: 5 to 6g each unit.

Aged Pu-Erh tea with fruity notes and free flavor related to a good quality of this tea. It can be enjoyed at any time of day because, despite its dark color, it has low levels of caffeine.

This type of rich, earthy pu-erh tea is referred to as ripened, or cooked. Unlike many other teas such as green and white which should be consumed shortly after production, pu-erh is unique in that it can be brewed immediately, or can be stored and aged for many years to come, much like a fine wine. Most pu-erh is classified by the year and region in which they were produced, again like wine. In fact, when it comes to pu-erh tea, a longer storage and aging period often results in a deeper complexity of flavor and an increase in the tea’s value. Many aged pu-erh teas are served in Chinese restaurants after heavy meals, as this type of tea is known for its ability to aid in digestion and weight loss.

The tissue paper wrapped over the cake or brick can help to keep the tea dry and protect it from external odors, but it is very thin and breakable; the papers will wear and tear after long storage due to oxidation.

Traditional preparation method: 1 nest for every 800ml of water boiled at +- 90º and with an infusion time of 2 to 5 minutes

Gongfu preparation method: Prepared in a 110ml Chinese cup and served in 7 stages (infusions), each stage being divided by the infusion time in seconds 20s, 15s, 15s, 30s, 50s, 80s, 150s.

Curiosity: To facilitate the transport and handling of this tea, traders began to pressurize it. Today, the same technique remains because it was discovered that this process helps to preserve all its qualities.

Lovely Red Tea

My family and I enjoyed this tea very much, very creamy and rich in texture when it was brewed for longer time.\r\nAt the last infusion, almost without color, the tea was still smooth and gave a soft touch of sweetness in the mouth.\r\nWet tea leaf smell wonderful. Therefore, I have made my 2nd purchase already.\r\nThank you Chas do Mundo for your professional service!
