Curiosities:
Oolong Tea - Oolong is between green tea, and black tea in terms of oxidation. In Chinese culture, semi-oxidized oolong teas, are known as qīngchá (blue-green tea). Several of its sub-varieties, including those produced in the Wuyi Mountains in the northern part of Fujian Province and the central mountains of Taiwan, are among the most famous Chinese teas. It has a flavour closer to green tea than black tea because it doesn't contain the sweet aroma of black tea. On the other hand, this tea also lacks the striking vegetable notes unique to green tea. As for its preparation, oolong needs to be prepared strong. It will be from the bitter that a trace of sweet flavour will emerge.
Lemongrass - Originally from Central America and Southeast Asia, the lemongrass belongs to the Poaceae family and is highly appreciated in the Caribbean, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia. This delicious rustic herb is adept in mild environments with the presence of humidity and good sun exposure. In several countries, it is used as a vegetable and aromatic herb in various culinary dishes combined with grated coconut, curry, fish, ginger and meat. Fast-growing lemongrass is a plant that contributes to physical and mental well-being. Lemongrass tea is recommended for hot and cold days.
It can help fight excessive sweating and even mitigate the effects of the athlete's foot. You can also use it as an insect repellent. If you are suffering from muscle pain or arthritis, you can soak some compresses in lemongrass tea and apply them to the affected areas. In Suriname (a South American country), this wonderful herb is used to fight cough, asthma, headaches and fever. While in the West, it is used as a digestive tonic and natural calming of the nervous system.
