Vitex tea (Agnus-castus)
Vitex Agnus-castus is a shrub of Mediterranean origin that is widely used in infusions to regulate the female reproductive system. In traditional medicine, it is usually recommended for the treatment of premenstrual tension (PMS) and insomnia.
Ingredients: 100% Vitex, fruits (Agnus-castus).
What is Vitex Tea good for
Vitex Tea is one of the most recommended teas for regulating the menstrual cycle and relieving menopausal symptoms. In addition to acting to reduce breast pain caused by hyperprolactinemia, it helps to reduce anxiety and acts as a natural protector of the liver. Although Vitex is an excellent ally for women, it is not for men. This is because Vitex Tea acts as an inhibitor of male sexual desire.
When used in the bath, it can help reduce the body discomfort caused by menopause.
Other indications: cystitis, nervous tension, kidney stones, migraines, headaches, low immunity, and endometriosis.
