Peruvian Maca - Originally from Peru, this aphrodisiac plant with medicinal properties has been cultivated and used by the Incas for over 2000 years. According to some historical facts, Maca has the designation of “Viagra of the Incas” from an ill-conceived experience of an emperor in his army. The initial objective would be to increase the energy of each of the members of your army to promote their energy resistance in the tough battles they would face. However, although they beat them all, the consumption of Maca in their diet contributed to the uncontrolled increase in sexual desire.
The Incas cultivated Maca in the Andes Mountains due to the power of this food in toning the body and fighting the hunger of isolated populations. This superfood is recognized for its high quantity of essential nutrients that promote physical and mental well-being at various levels. Of these nutrients, the most mentioned are vitamin C, calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, fibre, and omega-3. Due to its nutritional component, Maca is one of the most recommended foods for practitioners of regular physical exercise.

Because it contains antioxidant properties, Maca may increase body energy, reduce anxiety, and even relieve symptoms of menopause and menstruation.
