Tribulus Terrestris Herbal Tea

The Tribulus terrestris plant is considered in popular medicine as a 100% natural stimulant and suitable for the preparation of medicinal infusions.

Ingredients: 100% Tribulus terrestris, plant.

Properties: Consumption of this plant in infusion can increase testosterone levels in the body and tone the muscles, providing a stimulating effect on the production of male hormones, as well as increasing libido and muscle development.

Uses in Folk Medicine:

In Europe in general, tribulus terrestris has always been used as a sexual stimulant, increasing drive and performance, as well as for treating impotence for several centuries.

In ancient Greece, the dried fruit of Tribulus terrestris was commonly used as a mild laxative and general tonic.

In China, that is, in traditional Chinese medicine, Tribulus terrestris is called bai ji li (白蒺藜), being widely used to treat liver problems and as a cardiovascular remedy, in addition to eliminating headaches and nervous exhaustion.

In India Tribulus terrestris is widely used as a tonic and aphrodisiac in Ayurvedic practices, being known by its Sanskrit name "gokshura". The word Gokshura is formed by joining two words in that language: Go (cow) and Kshura (hoof). It is believed that it can contribute to general physical stamina as well as sexual stamina, building all tissues, especially Shukra dhatu (reproductive tissue). It is also believed to be useful in kidney, bladder, urinary tract and uro-genital related diseases, where it would work as a diuretic. It is also used in Unani, another Indian medical system.
