Iced Tea: the perfect excuse to relax on hot days

Celebrate International Tea Day and Iced Tea Day with a cup of tea. Take a deep breath and enjoy the cold days with a lot of charm. Whether hot or cold, Tea is a truly irresistible healthy option! Drinking cold tea must be the rule on summer days.

Enjoy iced tea on the beach, with or without company. An excellent drink, full of benefits for children and age people.

Drinking iced tea is the perfect excuse to relax on hot days. Prepare five refreshing Iced Tea recipes and enjoy them!

5 Iced Tea Recipes

Black Iced Tea Fruits of the Forest

Ingredients (for 3 to 4 people):

  • 500ml boiled water;
  • 500ml of iced water;
  • 3 to 4 sachets of Black Tea Fruits of the Forest;
  • Ice cubes to taste;
  • Lemon peels (optional);
  • Jar of 1.5L (1500ml);
  • 3 to 4 Double Glass Cups.

Water temperature: 100 °C

Infusion time: 5 minutes

How to prepare:

Take a teapot or small pot, pour 500ml of cold water and bring to a boil. After boiling, turn off the heat and add 3 to 4 sachets of Black Tea Fruits of the Forest. Cover the recipient and leave to infuse for 5 minutes. Then remove the sachets and pour the infusion into a jar.  Place the infusion in the fridge to chill for 2 hours. Finally, take each glass, pour in the iced tea and add some ice cubes. Finish off with a lemon peel in each glass.

If you prefer tea with sugar, opt for brown sugar or organic honey.

Apple and Cinnamon Iced Tea

Ingredients (for 4 to 5 people):

  • 1.5L (1500ml) cold water;
  • 2 Tablespoons of Apple Cinnamon Fruit Tea;
  • Ice cubes to taste;
  • Jug with 1.5L (1500ml);
  • 4 to 5 Glass cups.

Water temperature: 100 °C

Infusion time: 3 to 5 minutes.

How to prepare:

Take a medium pot, pour 1.5L of cold water and bring to a boil. After boiling, turn off the heat and add two tablespoons of Apple Cinnamon Fruit Tea. Cover the pot and leave to infuse for 3 to 5 minutes. Then strain, pour the infusion into a jug and leave it to cool in the fridge. Finally, add some ice cubes to the glasses with iced tea.

If you like sweet tea, add one dessert spoon of stevia leaves and let it infuse for about 3 minutes. Avoid exceeding the recommended time, as doesn’t become too sweet.

Iced Tea

Mate Lemon Iced Tea

Ingredients (for 3 to 4 people):

  • 1L (1000ml) of cold water;
  • 2 tablespoons of Yerba Mate;
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar or 2 tablespoons of organic honey to taste;
  • Lemons;
  • Ice cubes to taste;
  • Jug of 1.5L (1500ml);
  • Juicer;
  • 3 to 4 Glass cups.

Water temperature: 100 °C

Infusion time: 3 minutes

Preparation:

Take a medium pan, pour 1L of cold water and bring to a boil. After boiling, put the brown sugar or honey and stir well with the help of a spoon. Then add 2 tablespoons of Yerba Mate and stir well again. Cover the pan and let it boil for about 2 to 3 minutes. Finally, remove from the heat, strain and pour the infusion into a jug. Let it cool naturally.

Now, squeeze 2 lemons and add the juice to the jug. Stir well with the help of a tall spoon and add the desired ice cubes. Wait 2 to 3 minutes and serve in glasses.

Iced Mint Green Tea

Ingredients (for 4 to 5 people):

  • 1.5L (1500ml) of cold water;
  • 2 tablespoons of Green Tea Marrakesh Mint;
  • Ice cubes to taste;
  • Jug of 1.5L (1500ml);
  • 4 to 5 Glass cups.

Water temperature: 100º

Infusion time: 2 to 3 minutes.

How to make:

Take a medium pan, pour 1.5L of cold water and bring to a boil. After boiling, turn off the heat and add 2 tablespoons of Green Tea Marrakesh Mint. Cover the pot and let it steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Then strain and let cool slightly in a jar. Finally, put it in the fridge and let it cool completely for 2 hours.

For your Iced Tea to be ready, just add a few ice cubes to each glass and serve.

Iced Tea

Hibiscus Iced Tea

Ingredients (for 3 to 4 people):

  • 1L (1000ml) of cold water;
  • 2 Tablespoons of Hibiscus Flowers;
  • Ice cubes to taste;
  • Jar of 1L;
  • 3 to 4 Glass cups.

Water temperature: 100 °C

Infusion time: 2 to 3 minutes.

How to prepare:

Take a medium pot, pour 1L of cold water and bring to a boil. After boiling, turn off the heat and add two tablespoons of Hibiscus Flowers. Cover the pot and let it steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Then strain and let cool slightly before placing in a glass jar. Finally, place in the jar and place in the fridge to cool completely. Finish with some ice cubes in the glasses and serve them with Hibiscus Tea.
