Ingredients: 100% St. John's wort herb (Geranium robertianum).
Indications Therapeutic: it Is recommended in cases of gastrointestinal problems, including stomach ulcers, heartburn, digests difficult and/or diarrhoea. Can also be used as a stimulant of the immune system. It is still a coadjuvant in oncology, particularly in cancer of the digestive tract.
Active principles: The St. John's wort contains an essential oil (geraniol, citronellol, linalool, terpineol) with action antisséptica, antiviral, anticancer, and regulatory hormonal. It also contains tannins with action regenerating, astringent and hemostatic, and flavonoids (routine, derivatives of quercetin and campferol) with antioxidant and stimulant of the immune system. Their constituents bitter (geraniína) have digestive properties. This herb also includes phenolic acids with anti-inflammatory action.
Main properties: it Is recommended in cases of gastrointestinal problems, including stomach ulcers, heartburn, digests difficult and/or diarrhoea. Can also be used as a stimulant of the immune system. It is still a coadjuvant in oncology, particularly in cancer of the digestive tract.
Other properties: it Is beneficial in gout, and hypertension due to its action diuretic, in inflammations of the urinary system, in topical use in the afeções osteoarticular and as wound healing agent. Is still indicated in gargling, for gingivitis and inflammation of the oropharyngeal. This herb can also be used in tea.
Mode of preparation: 1 tablespoon of the plant for each gallon of water just to a boil. Must leave in infusion from 5 to 10 minutes.
It is recommended to take 3 to 4 cups per day.
