Papaya leaf Tea

Papaya Leaf Tea is an excellent help for digestive and intestinal health. In addition to acting as a digestive tonic, it strengthens defences and promotes collagen production.

Ingredients: 100% Papaya Leaves (Carica Papaya).

What is Papaya Leaf Tea good for

Papaya Leaf Tea is a medicinal tea that detoxifies the liver, stimulates the digestive system and promotes the balance of the intestinal flora. Due to the high amount of iron, Papaya Leaf Tea is one of the most recommended teas to treat anaemia. You can use it to improve blood circulation and relieve the intensity of menstrual symptoms. It is also recommended to control diabetes, improve digestion, balance the nervous system and treat muscle inflammations.

Curiosities:

Papaya is an exotic fruit from a tropical tree, not at all fond of frost and low temperatures. The first commercial records of papaya seeds date back to 1525. However, papaya only reached the Asian continent in 1550 with the arrival of the Spanish in the Philippines. In 1977 at the London Hospital, papaya strips were applied to a wound of a patient who had undergone a kidney transplant. Over two days, this natural treatment proved to be an excellent ally for infection healing.

Papaya leaves are the least known part of the tree. Highly rich in minerals and vitamins, papaya leaves can be harvested at any time of the year. A great option to add to vitamin juices or detox infusions. In Africa and Indonesia, the stem of the Papaya leaves is eaten as if it were a vegetable. It has been found that juice produced from Papaya leaves may contribute to relieving symptoms of Dengue (tropical infectious disease).
