Insulin Plant Tea

Insulin Plant Tea is a natural solution for controlling blood sugar levels (glycemia/diabetes). The leaves are harvested from a plant that can take the form of a vine about 10 meters high or as a perennial shrub, 3 meters high.

Insulin Plant contains hypoglycemic, antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-rheumatic, and anti-inflammatory properties. However, it is strongly known for its influence on diabetes control. The Cow Paw is also considered an excellent natural choice for stabilizing blood glucose levels. 

To prepare this tea it's usual to use the leaves in a dried state. However, you can use them in their natural state. The leaves of the insulin plant are rich in mineral salts that promote bone, blood, and metabolic health, such as calcium, potassium, and phosphorus. The consumption of this tea is beneficial to improve blood circulation, treat seizures, and strengthen the immune system. Externally, you can soak some compresses in the insulin plant tea and apply them to areas where you have joint or muscular pain or inflammation. It can also help control hypertension.

To obtain the benefits of this tea it is recommended that you practice a healthy lifestyle.

Water temperature: 100º

Boiling time: 5 minutes

Infusion time: 10 minutes (minimum duration).

Recommended quantity: 10g of insulin plant leaves per liter of water. Drink 2 to 3 cups daily before each main meal.

Preparation: place the leaves in a pot of water and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cover the pot and let it cool for at least 10 minutes.

Store in a cool, dry place.
