Curiosities:

Nettle – is a medicinal and wild plant of the Urticaceae family. Originally from Europe, Nettle is adept at mild climates, where it easily grows in vacant land or with lots of vegetation. In addition to being easily found in Europe, it is also possible to find this species in regions of Africa, Asia, and North America. In the 1st century AD. C., this plant would have been used by the Greeks in the well-known method that allowed the improvement and increase of male sexual potency. At the same time, it was used as an auxiliary method to treat rheumatic diseases.

Known as hierba de los ciegos, the nettle is an unfriendly plant. This fact is due to its agility in causing itching to those who come into contact with it.

Peppermint – is an aromatic plant of the Lamiaceae family, resulting from the union of two species of the 25 MenthasMentha aquatica with Mentha spicata. According to scientific data, the origin of peppermint is still unknown. However, it is thought to be possibly from England and North Africa. It was in 1696 that the first botanical record of this plant appeared in British territory, where it was applied for various purposes due to the high menthol content. In Arabic cuisine, it is quite common to mix peppermint with thyme as a spice. This versatile aromatic herb is often used in meat dishes, salads, and desserts.

About its medicinal properties, peppermint tea can help relieve indigestion, vomiting, headaches, muscle tension, fever and menstrual cramps.
