Originally from Asia and Europe, Herbe Robert is an annual or biennial plant belonging to the Geraniaceae family. The name given to this herb is related to the innovation of Saint Robert in the period when it was discovered in the 7th century. Although, other theories justify this question. Herb Robert contains anti-inflammatory, antiviral, analgesic, diuretic, antioxidant, detoxifying and antiseptic properties that may contribute to the treatment of oral, gastrointestinal, digestive and rheumatic diseases. It can also act as a hormonal regulator, even as a stimulant of the immune system.

Externally, it can be used as a natural healing agent for wounds, even as a soothing solution for the eyes and skin. As a rule, the parts used of the Herb Robert are the parts whether in a natural or dry state. Since the Middle Ages, this plant has been used frequently in magic rituals. While the American Indians used it to stop bleeding. Herb Robert is known as a blood purifier. The flowering parts and roots of this plant are consumed. Herb Robert tea is recommended to treat the following pathologies: diarrhoea, stomach ulcers, gingival inflammation, heartburn, hypertension, poor blood circulation, indigestion, heavy menstrual flows and gout.

In its natural state, it can be added to cooking dishes.

Water temperature: 100º

Infusion time: 5 to 10 minutes.

Recommended quantity: 3 to 4 cups a day.

Preparation: place a tablespoon of St. Robert's herb in a litter of boiled water in a container. Cover it and let it steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Finally, strain, and you can consume it immediately, cold or hot.

Store in a dry (max. 20º) and cool (max. 60% humidity) place.
