The Indian Fig Cuctus is a plant of the Cactaceae family, well known for its fruit and flowers. According to experts and historians, the consumption of this plant began more than 9000 years ago. It is high in sugar, potassium, magnesium, and vitamins A, B, and C complexes. For thousands of years, the Indian Fig Cuctus Fruit has been served as food in Mexico and Central America.

This plant is used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products indicated for the treatment of urinary and respiratory diseases. It may also be included in diuretic formulas.
