All Ayurvedic Tisanes are developed to balance the body's energy and bring human beings closer to nature.

What does “Ayurveda” mean?

The term “Ayurveda” refers to the knowledge of life (“ayu” means life and “veda” knowledge). Originally from India, this traditional healing system was born out of the need to observe, understand and contemplate nature. These natural formulas have been used for 5,000 years. For Ayurveda, the disease is much more than the manifestation of symptoms. It corresponds, above all, to the disconnection or distancing of the human being from nature. That is, when you have a disease, your energy is out of alignment with the natural environment, and therefore you become sick. This alternative and oriental concept propose to restore your spiritual, mental and physical well-being.

Ayurvedic formulas are completed through the practice of meditation and breathing exercises.

Curiosities:

Cloves – Cloves are the flowers bud of the tree Syzygium aromaticum native to the Maluku Islands (Indonesia). Normally, the harvest of these buds is done manually. Often associated with dental health, the Chinese may have used cloves for 400 years BC. According to cultural records, chewing this spice was quite common on the part of the subjects when requested by the Emperor. This was because it helped to reduce bad breath.

Known for their intense smell and characteristic taste, the Chinese have also used cloves to combat toothache. This spice is rich in antiseptic and aphrodisiac properties which may promote the treatment of indigestion, body discomfort and diarrhoea. Today, cloves are widely grown in tropical and subtropical countries such as Madagascar, Mozambique, and India. However, Tanzania is the world's largest producer of this spice.
